About the Winery: Antonio Franco founded the “Cantine Franco” winery in Valdobbiadene in 1919. Valdobbiadene is located at the foot of the Prealps, in the Venetian region, and is famous for the Prosecco vine and wine production. This winery is proud to be one of the oldest in Valdobbiadene, located in the town centre, not far away from the countryside and the vineyards.
Thanks to a careful and wise management, the estate has been growing and evolving throughout three generations of producers. Antonio founded it, Nino expanded it and Primo improved the company performance throughout the years. 1982, when Primo took over its management, was the turning point.

About the Wine: Vibrant, mineral-driven citrus and orchard fruit aromas are complemented by honeysuckle, ginger and a touch of quinine. On the palate, bitter pear skin and Meyer lemon flavors show very good depth and vivacity, along with a firming jolt of smoky minerality. The finish unwinds slowly, showing excellent concentration, persistence and lingering floral character.

About the Wine: Very expressive, deep, with a fruit character above the oak, almost imperceptible. Red and black fruit, in the line of the cherry and blackberry. A freshness feeling. Light spicy notes in the line of the fresh ground black pepper. The aromatic expression is growing with a predominance of the fruit over the rest of components. Great fruity feeling and very fresh. It appears the same nuances that are perceived in nose, it dominates the game of the red and black fruit, but it also appears the mineral character and the fine spicy. The tannin is present with a very good quality, marking the youth of the wine. Long, with a good acidity which gives a pleasant freshness together with a fullness feeling. A harmonious and balanced wine. Nose and palate very coherent, in which emphasize the fruits and the freshness.
About the Winery: Bodegas Roda undertakes a new adventure. After a trajectory over twenty years, which has become by its consolidated work of the R&D research, one of the most prestigious wineries in the D.O.Ca Rioja, Roda proposes to exploit the knowledge and experience to diversify in the D.O. Ribera del Duero with Bodegas La Horra. The diversification of the company began in 1999 with the olive oil. Nowadays, Bodegas Roda produces two olive oil plots: Dauro in the Empordà and Aubocassa in Majorca. The new company will exploit the existing synergies in the R&D research and the commercial distribution of Roda, Dauro and Aubocassa, products available in 55 countries.
