Ribera del Duero

Although Rioja is know for producing some of Spain’s best reds it is actually the Ribera Del Duero that produces Spain’s most expensive and sought after wines. The wines from this area tend to be a fuller and more age worthy then Rioja. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Tempranillo and Garnacha are the dominate grapes grown in the region.
