Domaine Billaud-simon Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2009
The 2009 Chablis Les Clos is playing its cards close to the vest, which is not surprising, as it was bottled a month ago. Though texturally elegant, the wine needs time for the aromas and flavors to come back to life. There is no denying the wine's harmonious finish though.

David Duband is a new name in Burgundy yet he is already making a considerable impact. He made his first wine in 1991, while still a student at the Beaune Wine School. In 1993 he took over a few of his father's vines and instead of selling the grapes to the local co-op, David decided to vinify and bottle his own wine.
