Hans Tschida Zweigelt Strohwein 2004 (37.5cl)
The 2004 Zweigelt Schilfwein represents Tschida’s take on vin de paille. Showing the effects of its two years in new wood in overtones of lanolin and a slightly gummy sweetness, this reddish “sticky” somewhat redeems itself with its sheer intensity of candied cherry and cinnamon, finishing with impressive penetration, though nearly overwhelming sweetness.

Jurtschitsch Gruner Veltliner Kaferberg 2008
"A special aspect of a family-run business is, that you don’t think in yearly revenues, but rather in generations. This applies all the more to viticulture, because the quality of the wines of our children and grand-children will depend on how close to nature (meaning „close to a natural ecosystem/environment) we deal with our vineyards today. The creed of the Jurtschitsch family is: „We owe our library full of fascinating mature wines to our ancestors".
