Overview

Absinthe is a distilled, highly alcoholic anise-flavored spirit derived from herbs and the fundamental ingredient: grand wormwood (Artemisia absinthium). It is typically green in colour, turning to a cloudy, opalescent milky green (know as the louche) when mixed with water and is historically referred to as ‘The Green Fairy’.
