Overview

At Gravitas, they pursue a more structured, complex and handcrafted tradition than is typical in NZ, and aim to make wines that are resolutely food-friendly. They strive for wines that have more finessed and elegant beginning, a complex multi-layered middle palate and a linger taste at the end (the finish) that goes on and on for a couple of minutes.

Tasting Notes

Pale lemon straw in colour. The fine citrus and honeydew aromas are supported by subtle vanilla French oak. Hints of yeast lees add understated complexity. With pure ripe citrus and quince/pear fruit flavours, and malolactic creaminess, the wine displays
